3 Nights 4 Days Sundarbans Wildlife Safari Itinerary
Embark on an unforgettable 3 Nights 4 Days wildlife expedition through the mysterious waterways of the Sundarbans, home to the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. Experience a perfect blend of wilderness, comfort, and adventure as you explore deep forest creeks, vibrant mangrove habitats, and elusive wildlife aboard our comfortable safari boat.
Day 1
Your journey begins with a pickup from Godkhali, the gateway to the Sundarbans. From here, we start cruising through the scenic Durgaduani River, surrounded by dense mangroves and tranquil backwaters. After about an hour of cruising, we reach the forest entry point where your first safari begins. We will explore the legendary stretches of Sundarikhali, Bonobibi Bharani, and Khalshi Bharani, scanning the shores for tigers, crocodiles, water monitors, and a rich variety of birdlife. Lunch will be served onboard, followed by an afternoon safari through the creeks until around 5:00 PM, when we exit the forest. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at our forest-side hotel.
Day 2
We leave the hotel early, around 5:00 AM, for another full day of thrilling exploration. Today’s route takes you deep inside the forest via the Dobanki Entry Point, one of the most promising zones for tiger and bird sightings. We will cover hotspots like Pirkhali 6, Junction, Deulbharani, and Choragazi, areas known for their high tiger movement and rich avian diversity. Keep your cameras ready for Collared, Brown-winged, and Black-capped Kingfishers, the elusive Buffy Fish Owl, and perhaps a glimpse of the tiger patrolling its mangrove kingdom. Lunch will be served on the boat. Return to the hotel in the evening for rest and dinner.
Day 3
Another early start from 5:00 AM. Depending on recent movements and sightings, our expert naturalists will select the best forest entry point for the day. We will spend the full day scanning riverbanks, tidal creeks, and channels in search of the Royal Bengal Tiger and other fascinating wildlife that thrive in this mangrove world. Enjoy freshly prepared meals onboard, with tea and snacks as we continue exploring until sunset. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4
On your final day, we will leave the hotel at 5:00 AM for one last safari, exploring the Khonakhali side, a serene yet active stretch known for tigers and raptors. After scanning the area, we will slowly cruise back through Sundarikhali, exiting the forest from Sudhanyakhali. Lunch will be served on the boat before returning to Godkhali, marking the end of your unforgettable Sundarbans expedition.
